Step into a world brimming with adventure as the skies fill with the enchanting presence of the Moomins. The beloved characters from Finnish author Tove Jansson's books are making their much-anticipated debut in thatgamecompany's Sky: Children of the Light, infusing the game with their unique charm and magic.

The Season of Moomin kicks off today, October 14th, and will continue through to December 29th. This limited-time event offers players the chance to experience the heartwarming stories and vibrant world of Moominvalley within the enchanting realm of Sky: Children of the Light.

What's In Store?

The season focuses on Ninny, also known as 'The Invisible Child,' who is navigating through her own challenges of fear, confidence, and self-discovery. As a player, you'll have the opportunity to aid Ninny in her journey back to visibility, with a new chapter of her story unfolding each week.

Upon entering Moominvalley, your character transforms into a butterfly, guiding Ninny through a shadowy, colorless world. As you progress and help Ninny overcome her fears, the world regains its colors, culminating in a vibrant, lively Moominvalley by the end of the journey.

Throughout your exploration, you'll encounter iconic characters from the Moomin universe, including Moomintroll and Snufkin, directly within Sky: Children of the Light. Additionally, you can dress your Sky child in new Moomin-themed outfits, adding a unique flair to your character.

The season also offers a variety of unlockable items, such as capes, hairstyles, and musical instruments. Don't miss out on the limited-time collaboration accessories, including Moomintroll-inspired ears and tail, as well as Snufkin's outfit.

To embark on this magical journey, head to the gate near the Vault of Knowledge and find the Moomin Storybook. New players may need to progress further into the game, at least to the Hidden Forest, before accessing this feature. Download Sky from the Google Play Store to start your adventure.
