Finding Lord Semine's Sword in "Wedding Crashers"

Radovan informs you that the sword you crafted from the Hermit's Sword, intended as Lord Semine's gift, has gone missing. Although he doesn't know the thief's identity, he mentions seeing a stranger in yellow sulking around. Your first task is to locate this man in yellow.

You can approach and question anyone wearing yellow about the sword. Most will deny any involvement, but some may offer a clue, mentioning they saw a man in yellow heading upstairs in the stable. Upon investigating the upper level of the stable, you'll find Hans attempting to charm a woman.

Hans, dressed in yellow, isn't the thief, but he saw Svatya, the bailiff's son and the bride's brother, take the sword. You can ask Hans why Svatya would steal it, given their soon-to-be familial ties, or inquire about what Svatya did with it afterward. Hans suggests you confront Svatya directly, as he didn't follow him after the theft.

Confronting Svatya

Finding Svatya is straightforward. Exit the stables and look towards the tree where musicians are entertaining the wedding guests. Svatya is directly to the right, drinking against the stable wall. Upon approaching him, you'll notice he has a sword, raising hopes of recovering Lord Semine's gift.

Unfortunately, Svatya has already disposed of the sword. He confesses to taking it out of resentment towards Old Semine's treatment of them, aiming to embarrass him by suggesting he misplaced his son's gift, implying dementia. Svatya didn't consider the repercussions or his father's potential refusal to shield him from theft charges.

Svatya reveals he tossed the sword into the pond, lacking time to devise a better hiding spot. This works in your favor. If you danced with Myshka earlier, she led you to the pond post-dance. Otherwise, you can reach the pond by heading to Radovan's location; the pond is directly behind him, accessible through a door in the fence.

Getting the Sword

Upon opening the door, take a few steps forward and look down. You'll spot the sword in the water. Approach closely to retrieve it. Once you have the sword, return to Radovan. You can choose to reveal Svatya as the thief or sidestep the issue, noting that the sword's recovery is what matters.

Regardless of your choice, returning Lord Semine's sword to Radovan allows the ceremony to commence. Ensure you complete any tasks that must be done before the wedding before speaking to Radovan. After returning the sword, congratulate the newlyweds and proceed to the next main quest.
