How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin's Creed Shadows

To embark on this adventure, you'll need to venture into the Omi region, which you'll reach around the midpoint of the game's storyline. Ensure your characters are well-prepared and strong enough to face the challenges ahead. Once ready, head northeast to reach Omi.

Your destination is Lake Biwa, a vast body of water central to the Omi region. For an easier journey, it's highly recommended to secure a boat. You can find one at the settlements of Azuchi or Omizo. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also swim across the lake.

Your target is the largest island in the middle of Lake Biwa, located just northwest of Azuchi. Navigate to this island, and you'll discover Okishima, complete with a Kakurega where you can rest. You'll notice plenty of fish being dried near the docks, a clear sign that this island is home to a certain type of animal.

To immerse yourself in the feline population on Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter more and more cats. Don't miss the chance to pet them; this will add these adorable creatures to your collection for use in your Hideout. Keep an eye out for rare kittens, as they are particularly elusive and can only be found here.

While other Leaps of Faith often unlock new areas on your map, the true treasure on Okishima is your new feline companions. After taking in the sights and landing in the haystack, there isn't much else to do except revisit the cats. You'll also return to Okishima later in Yasuke's storyline, so keep that in mind for future adventures.
