During the DIGIMON CON 2025 Livestream on March 20, Bandai Namco introduced Digimon Alysion, a fresh mobile TCG currently in development. This game follows the successful model of other mobile card games like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap, aiming to broaden the Digimon TCG's reach into the mobile gaming world.

Digimon Alysion will be a free-to-play digital trading card game, allowing players to collect cards of various Digimon and characters, build decks, and engage in battles with other players. A standout feature is its anticipated in-depth story mode, promising a richer experience beyond traditional and competitive gameplay.

Hara confirmed that players can select from three starter Digimon at the game's outset: Patamon, Gomamon, and DemiDevimon, all iconic from the original Digimon Adventure series. These selections align with fan speculations, as they were featured in the game's promotional artwork.

Time Stranger boasts an expansive roster of over 450 Digimon, surpassing its predecessor, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory, which had 330 Digimon. The new trailer highlighted some of these, including Angewomon, Gallantmon, and the fan-favorite Agumon.
