In their statement, CD Projekt Red emphasized, "We've been actively working to remove this fraudulent messaging. If you encounter any such invites or news, please report them using the tools available on your email client or social media platform."

They reassured fans that any legitimate future beta tests would be announced first on The Witcher’s official channels.
