The Witcher 4 developer, CD Projekt Red, has taken to social media to alert fans about a scam involving fake beta test invitations. On April 16, they posted on The Witcher’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, acknowledging reports from the community about these deceptive invitations.

In their statement, CD Projekt Red emphasized, "We've been actively working to remove this fraudulent messaging. If you encounter any such invites or news, please report them using the tools available on your email client or social media platform."

They reassured fans that any legitimate future beta tests would be announced first on The Witcher’s official channels.
