On January 18, the game welcomed four new heroes into the fray, and within days, the developers rolled out some crucial balance tweaks. For instance, Holliday's ability Crackshot now activates on units as well, with its cooldown halved in those scenarios. Meanwhile, Calico's ability Ava has been upgraded to destroy objects as she dashes through them.

The patch didn't overlook the older heroes either. Kelvin now boasts an increased health pool, up from 600 to 650. Vendicta, on the other hand, sees her bullet speed drop from 810 to 740 and her movement speed decrease from nine to eight. In total, 11 heroes, including the fresh faces, received targeted modifications.

Deadlock continues to thrive in its closed beta phase, maintaining a robust online player count that fluctuates between 7,000 and 20,000. Valve's commitment to fine-tuning the game keeps the community engaged and eagerly awaiting the next update.
