Freedom Wars Remastered: Maximizing Your Combat Item Loadout

Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, crucial consumables with limited quantities, often require strategic management. This guide details how to equip more Combat Items and where to acquire them.

Equipping More Combat Items

Initially, you're limited to one Combat Item. To increase this, you need Entitlements. Access these via the "Window On Liberty" in your cell, selecting "Claim Entitlements," then navigating to the "Equipment" section. The "One-Item Permit" is the first in a series; each subsequent permit allows an additional Combat Item, up to a maximum of four.

These permits become available as you progress. By CODE level 3, all four should be accessible. Note that later permits unlock only after purchasing the preceding one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack, so equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, will use all currently held grenades at the operation's start. Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item for on-demand use.

Acquiring More Combat Items

After completing the initial missions, access The Warren HUB area. Here, Zakka's store (upper level, right side) offers "Buy Items," with "Munitions" (damaging items) and "Medical Supplies" (healing, curative, and ammo-refilling items) categories.

Combat Items are purchased individually, with bulk purchases costing significant Entitlement Points. While Operations occasionally reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards. Consider donating excess resources to acquire more Entitlement Points if you consistently need large quantities of Medkits, for example.
