Firaxis Games unveils the post-launch roadmap for Sid Meier's Civilization VII, detailing paid and free content updates throughout 2025 and beyond. This information was revealed during a recent livestream event.

The roadmap features several substantial updates, including DLC pack collections adding new Leaders, Civilizations, and Natural Wonders. These paid DLC packs are scheduled for spring and summer releases. Simultaneously, players can anticipate free content via patches, events, and more.

A key paid DLC is the two-part "Crossroads of the World Collection." Part one (early March) includes Leader Ada Lovelace, four Natural Wonders, and the Carthage and Great Britain civilizations. Part two (late March) adds Leader Simon Bolivar and the Bulgaria and Nepal civilizations. Free content will also launch in early and late March, featuring new Natural Wonder events and Wonders themselves (Battle event and Bermuda Triangle in early March; Marvelous Mountains event and Mount Everest in late March).

Further into the year, the "Right Rule Collection" (summer release) will introduce two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four New World Wonders. Additional free content and updates are planned from April through September. Firaxis commits to ongoing support from October 2025 onwards. Precise release dates for all announced content remain unconfirmed.
