Carrion's Reverse Horror Coming to Mobile
Devolver Digital's Android game library boasts impressive titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, and Downwell. Soon, another standout will join the ranks: Carrion, the acclaimed "reverse-horror" game, is coming to mobile devices.
Initially released on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, the mobile version launches October 31st.
Carrion Mobile: A Horror from the Inside
In Carrion, you embody a creature from a nightmare—you are the horror. Control a mysterious red blob with tentacles, slithering, clawing, and devouring everything in its path. The game flips the horror script; instead of survival, you are the source of terror.
This amorphous being, "The Monster," is contained within a high-security Relith Science research lab. Scientists have experimented on its DNA, but the creature has escaped, evolved, and seeks revenge. Your goal: escape the facility using any means necessary.
Consume scientists, guards, and anyone who stands in your way. Crawl through vents, smash doors, and unleash your tentacles to hunt. Just like the PC version, Carrion mobile delivers a wave of panic and destruction. Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to break through barriers and grow larger.
