How To Break & Repair a Broken Object in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event
The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event offers numerous rewards, but acquiring them presents challenges. One particularly tricky task involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide provides a straightforward solution.
Week 2's challenge requires raising Handiness to level 2 or higher, a relatively simple task. The difficulty arises in the subsequent step: repairing a broken object. The game doesn't highlight broken items, so you'll need to create one.
Instead of using complex methods like pranks (requiring specific Traits), the easiest approach is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks. The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option; using it approximately a dozen times will cause it to malfunction. This can be achieved by your Sim or by having guests use it.
Repairing the broken object is simple once your Handiness skill reaches level 2. Simply select the "Repair" option on the broken item. This will resolve the malfunction and complete the challenge.
