Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude x The Sound Of Your Heart Is Probably The Most Hilarious Crossover Ever!

The mobile RPG Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude, having surpassed 1 million downloads since its late March release, is celebrating with a crossover event featuring the popular South Korean webcomic The Sound of Your Heart.

The Sound of Your Heart, a Naver Webtoon series by Jo Seok that ran from 2006 to 2020, boasts over 7 billion views and a Netflix adaptation. This collaboration brings Jo Seok's memorable characters to Boomerang RPG.

Who's Joining the Crossover?

Expect to see Jo Seok himself, his formidable wife Aebong (with her signature tough-love approach), his lovable father-in-law Jjaeddanyo, and Buuk Suh, Jo Seok's friend who literally sheds flower petals when injured.

The event tasks players with rescuing Aebong, Jjaeddanyo, and Buuk Suh from a dungeon. Successfully clearing the dungeons adds them to your playable roster. However, be warned: Aebong's evil alter-ego, Dark Aebong, awaits as the final boss, bringing her hilariously animated fury straight from the comic.

The 21-Day Attendance Event offers free access to the collaboration characters. The event also introduces limited-edition boomerangs themed around everyday objects like drumsticks, golf clubs, hair dryers, and even a stylus. A Token Event lets players collect food-themed tokens (kimchi, tomatoes, noodles, chicken) to exchange for unique magic effects and legendary boomerangs.
