Blox Fruits Dragon Update – Planned Release, Reworks & More

The highly anticipated Blox Fruits Dragon Update is finally on the horizon, almost a year after its initial planned release. Details regarding the release date, significant reworks, and more are revealed below.

A Comprehensive Look at the Blox Fruits Dragon Update

While we've only had a sneak peek, the Dragon Update promises exciting changes. A major graphical overhaul is the standout feature, enhancing islands, character models, and animations.

Several Third Sea islands have undergone complete revamps, including texture and building improvements, new structures, and updated models. These reworked islands include:

  • Port Town
  • Great Tree
  • Hydra Island

Addressing player concerns about performance on mobile and consoles, the update also includes a performance boost. Leveraging new Roblox performance tools, the developers aim to optimize the game for smoother gameplay across all devices, minimizing lag and enhancing the overall experience for all players.

Gameplay improvements extend beyond graphics. The NPC quest indicator has a fresh look, and NPCs now feature idle animations. Chests and their interactions have also received visual and animation enhancements.

Combat has also been refined. Guns are now displayed on characters, accompanied by visual and gameplay upgrades. Mobs showcase improved knockback and stun animations, and hit indicators (red glows) are now used for both players and enemies. Observation has also been updated visually and with new sound effects.

A new Ability HUD helps players track ability cooldowns, preventing accidental button mashing.
