The First Bird Pokémon Is Landing in Pokémon GO During the Catch Mastery Event!
Pokémon GO enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to with a series of exciting events on the horizon. Alongside the ongoing Festival of Colors and Might and Mastery events, the Catch Mastery event is set to captivate players with its unique offerings.
Catch Mastery Brings the First Birdie for Pokémon GO!
Mark your calendars for March 16th, as the Catch Mastery event kicks off from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. This event centers around Archen, the First Bird Pokémon, giving players a chance to encounter it in the wild. Alongside Archen, you'll see increased spawns of Omanyte and Kabuto, with the possibility of finding their Shiny variants.
Archen won't just be appearing in the wild; it will also be available as a Field Research reward, with an enhanced chance of encountering its Shiny form. To sweeten the deal, the event offers XP bonuses, doubling the XP earned from Nice Throws or better, as well as from Curveball Throws.
For those eager to dive deeper, the event includes Timed Research focused on catching Rock-type Pokémon. Completing up to 10 sets of tasks could lead to a rewarding total of 40 Archen encounters, making it a must-participate event for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
The Mega Absol Raid Day Is Also Happening Soon
Following the Catch Mastery event, the Mega Absol Raid Day is scheduled for March 23rd, running from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event introduces a new Charged Attack for Absol, Brutal Swing, which will become a permanent addition to its moveset. Brutal Swing will boast 55 power in Trainer Battles and an impressive 65 power in gyms and raids.
To make the most of this event, from March 22nd at 5:00 p.m. PDT to March 23rd at 8:00 p.m. PDT, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be temporarily expanded to 20. Additionally, players can collect up to five extra free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, allowing for a total of six passes for the day. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in numerous raids and maximize your rewards.
If you're yet to join the Pokémon GO community, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in these thrilling events.
