Bam Margera's inclusion in the highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has been a hot topic among fans. Initially, Margera was absent from the announced roster of returning skaters for the game, but recent reports have confirmed his addition to the final lineup.

This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle. According to Bagley, the game was already complete when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Despite being told it was not possible, Hawk's determination ensured Margera's place in the game.

IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Bam Margera, known for his skateboarding prowess and his starring role in the Jackass franchise, has faced significant personal challenges with alcohol and substance abuse, which have been widely documented. These struggles led to his dismissal from the Jackass Forever project and resulted in a restraining order against him by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats.

Adding to the speculation about Margera's return to the game, he and Tony Hawk recently shared a video of them skateboarding together, which sparked hope among fans.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy and has made a remarkable comeback after nearly being canceled following Activision's merger of the previous series developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
