Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer
Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial overhaul by modder Celerev, injects roguelike elements into the original Trials of Tav mod. This update significantly ramps up the challenge.
This enhanced version boasts new adversaries, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to test even veteran players. Conquering this behemoth signifies a true completion of the challenge.
The expansion extends beyond a single boss; over 60 enemies from the base game, including rare encounters like Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep, have been integrated. Gameplay mechanics have also been tweaked: trading has been rebalanced, and the difficulty scaling adjusted to prevent new enemy abilities from creating insurmountable roadblocks.
Mod creator Celerev acknowledges the invaluable contributions of Hippo0o, the original mod's author, highlighting the foundation laid for this expansive game mode. For players preferring the original experience, the classic Trials of Tav remains accessible.
Trials of Tav - Reloaded offers a compelling test of skill for players seeking a demanding challenge or patiently awaiting Patch 8, which promises crossplay and other enhancements.
