Kai: Encountered early in Dawnshore, near Paradis, Kai, a formidable ex-mercenary with a tender heart, is your first true companion. His tank-like capabilities in combat, coupled with fire-based abilities to overcome environmental obstacles, make him an invaluable asset. His abilities include:

• Fire and Ire (Active): A powerful blunderbuss shot, stunning and taunting a single enemy.
• Unbending Defense (Active): Health regeneration and damage reduction.
• Leap of Daring (Active): A stunning, taunting leap attack affecting nearby enemies.
• Second Win (Passive): Self-revival upon reaching zero health.

Marius: Found in Dawnshore, Marius, a skilled hunter and tracker, shares a history with Kai. His expertise extends to combat, utilizing bow and arrow, daggers, and nature-based traps. His abilities include:

• Binding Roots (Active): Roots an enemy in place.
• Heart Seeker (Active): A piercing shot that ignores obstacles.
• Shadow Step (Active): Vanishes and reappears to attack an enemy (up to 3 times).
• Wounding Shots (Passive): Attacks inflict bleed.

Giatta: Recruited later in the Emerald Stair region, Giatta, an animancer, plays a crucial role in unraveling spiritual mysteries. Her support-oriented combat abilities focus on healing, shielding, and buffing allies. Her abilities include:

• Purification (Active): Heals all allies.
• Barrier (Active): Provides temporary health to allies.

Yatzli: The final companion, found in Thirdborn within the Shatterscarp region, Yatzli is a damage-dealing mage. Her spells excel at both single-target and area-of-effect damage, and she can also clear environmental obstacles. Her abilities include:

• Minoletta’s Missile Battery (Active): A volley of homing arcane missiles.
• Arduos Delay of Motion (Active): Slows an enemy.
