Astaweave Haven Gets Revamped: New Name for MiHoYo's Animal Crossing-Inspired Game!
HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, is keeping busy! Their upcoming game, previously known as Astaweave Haven, has a new name: Petit Planet. Even before a proper reveal, the game is undergoing significant changes.
If you're a fan of gacha or RPGs, you might have heard of Astaweave Haven. While MiHoYo hasn't released much official information, indications suggest a departure from their usual open-world gacha style. Petit Planet appears to be a life-simulation or management game, similar to Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.
The name change itself is intriguing. "Petit Planet" has a charming sound and subtly hints at the game's management sim genre, differentiating it from MiHoYo's typical gacha RPGs.
Release Date?
Currently, there's no official release date. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile in July. HoYoVerse registered the "Petit Planet" trademark on October 31st, and it's now awaiting US and UK approval.
Given MiHoYo's rapid release schedule (consider Zenless Zone Zero following Honkai: Star Rail), we can hopefully expect a quick turnaround after name approval, providing a first look at Petit Planet.
