Arnold stunned by son Patrick's nude scene in 'White Lotus'

In classic paternal fashion, Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted being just as surprised as everyone else when his son Patrick bared it all during Season 3 of The White Lotus.

"I'm watching your show, and suddenly there's your rear end on full display," the 77-year-old action star confessed during his recent Actors on Actors interview with his son, captured in the Variety tweet below. "Then I spotted your... equipment, and I thought, 'What exactly is happening here?' It was wild! Then I realized - wait a minute, didn't I do the same thing in Conan and Terminator? I was naked too, so who am I to talk? But still, seeing you follow exactly in my footsteps was shocking!"

While Patrick's White Lotus performance may have been his breakout role, he's actually been building his career steadily. His previous credits include the 2022 limited series The Staircase and 2024's American Sports Story.

Film-wise, his most compelling performance to date (in this writer's opinion) came in the 2019 psychological horror Daniel Isn't Real, where Patrick portrayed the imaginary friend of Miles Robbins' troubled protagonist. Over the years, he's consistently demonstrated his acting chops while carving out a distinct identity separate from his famous father.

The elder Schwarzenegger launched his own career with 1970's Hercules in New York before becoming a global superstar through the Terminator franchise. While he hasn't appeared in films since 2019, he's been leading Netflix's FUBAR series since 2023 and has two upcoming movie projects: Kung Fury 2 and The Man With the Bag.
