April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled
Sony has announced an exciting lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers in April 2025, featuring three diverse titles: RoboCop: Rogue City for PS5, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for both PS4 and PS5, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory for PS4. These games will be available to subscribers at no extra cost starting April 1, as revealed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post. The trio will be accessible until the next set of games arrives on May 5.
PlayStation Plus Essential members can look forward to a varied gaming experience. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, is a first-person shooter that lets players step into the shoes of Alex Murphy, aka RoboCop, as he tackles crime in a dystopian Detroit. The game received a significant update in January of the previous year, adding a New Game Plus mode, and earned a commendable 7/10 in our review at launch.
For those seeking multiplayer thrills, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, brought to life by Sumo Digital and Gun Media, offers an asymmetrical horror experience. Players can either survive or hunt as part of the infamous Slaughter Family, including the terrifying Leatherface. Despite some technical challenges, we found it provided a few entertaining hours, scoring a 6/10 in our review.
Lastly, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory by Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed pace with its turn-based gameplay and extensive world of over 320 Digimon to collect. This title offers a fresh perspective on the events of the original Cyber Sleuth story, appealing to fans of the series.
As these titles become available, subscribers should not forget to download the March 2025 PlayStation Plus titles, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, before they are replaced on March 31. Whether you're into action, horror, or monster collecting, April's lineup promises something for every PlayStation Plus Essential member.
