To enjoy the lively quiz game, Knowledge is Power: Decades, on your PlayStation®4, you'll need the companion app. As of December 14, 2023, there's an important update regarding the availability of these companion apps for PlayLink games, including Knowledge is Power: Decades.

For Android users, if you've already downloaded the companion app or added it to your library, you can continue playing the game without issues. However, companion apps are no longer available on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11 for Knowledge is Power: Decades. If you haven't downloaded it yet, you might need to find an alternative solution or use an older device compatible with the app.

Apple iOS users, on the other hand, can continue using the companion app regardless of their iOS version, ensuring uninterrupted gameplay.

Dive into the high-energy quiz, Knowledge is Power: Decades, where you can challenge your friends and family on your PlayStation®4 system. Test your trivia prowess with thousands of questions covering pop culture from the ’80s to the ’10s. Use your smartphone as a controller to play with up to five other players, aiming to be the quickest to answer, outsmarting your opponents with clever Power Plays, and engaging in touch screen Challenges. Who will reach the top of the Pyramid of Knowledge first?

Ensure your PlayStation®4 system is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device, and you're set to play. Follow the in-app instructions to connect seamlessly.

With the companion app, you can:

• Answer quiz questions privately, keeping your choices hidden from other players.
• Select from various Power Plays to gain an advantage and slow down your rivals.
