Application Description
Enhance your vehicle diagnostics with the Advanced LT plugin for Torque Pro, which allows you to monitor specific KIA parameters in real-time, including advanced engine and automatic transmission sensor data. This plugin extends the PID/Sensor list to include tailored parameters for KIA vehicles, offering you a trial with a limited set of sensors before committing to a purchase. Please note that this version does not include calculated sensors such as Injector Duty Cycle (%) or HIVEC mode.
*PLEASE NOTE* that while other KIA models and engines might be compatible, the plugin has been rigorously tested on the following models and engines:
- Carnival/Sedona 3.8 V6
- Carnival/Sedona 2.7 V6
- Carnival/Sedona 2.2 CRDI
- Cee'd 1.4/1.6 MPI

The plugin also features an ECU Scanner, a valuable tool for identifying specific sensors on KIA engines not yet supported by the plugin. To use this, you'll need to record at least 1000 samples and send the logs to the developer for further customization.
Advanced LT is designed to work seamlessly with the latest version of Torque Pro and is not a standalone application. To ensure functionality, Torque Pro must be installed on your device.
Plugin Installation
Follow these steps to install the Advanced LT plugin:
- Download the plugin from Google Play and confirm its presence in your Android device's installed applications list.
- Launch Torque Pro and tap on the "Advanced LT" icon.
- Select the appropriate engine type and return to the Torque Pro main screen.
- Navigate to Torque Pro's "Settings".
- Verify that the plugin is listed by going to "Settings" > "Plugins" > "Installed Plugins".
- Scroll to "Manage extra PIDs/Sensors".
- Typically, this section will be empty unless you've previously added PIDs or custom sensors.
- From the menu, select "Add predefined set".
- Ensure you select the correct set for your KIA engine type from the available options.
- After selecting, you should see additional entries in the Extra PIDs/Sensors list.
Adding Displays
To visualize the new sensor data, follow these steps:
- After adding the new sensors, go to the Realtime Information/Dashboard in Torque Pro.
- Press the menu key and select "Add Display".
- Choose the appropriate display type (Dial, Bar, Graph, Digital Display, etc).
- Select the sensor you want to monitor from the list. Sensors provided by Advanced LT are prefixed with "[KADV]" and are typically listed near the top, just after the time sensors.
Future updates will include more features and parameters. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome to help enhance the plugin further.
