The game is played using a standard 52-card deck. To start, you'll place equal bets on Ante and Blind, with the option to also wager on a Trips bet, which pays out on specific hand achievements. The dealer will then deal two cards to you and two to themselves, allowing you a peek at your cards. At this point, you have the choice to either check or make a Play bet, which can be three or four times your Ante bet.

Following your decision, the dealer reveals three community cards. If you previously checked, you now have the opportunity to either make a Play bet double your Ante bet or check once more. If you've already made a Play bet, you simply await the final two community cards, which the dealer will then turn over.

If you've checked twice, you're now faced with a final decision: place a Play bet equal to your Ante bet or fold, losing both your Ante and Blind bets. In UTH, both you and the dealer aim to create the best five-card hand using your hole cards and the community cards. The dealer needs at least a pair to qualify. If they qualify, your hands are compared, and the Blind, Ante, and Play bets are settled based on UTH's specific rules. Win against a qualified dealer, and all three bets pay out. If the dealer doesn't qualify, your Ante bet is returned. Should the dealer win, you lose all bets except for the Trips bet, which operates independently. In the event of a tie, all bets are returned to you.
