An innovative app leverages AI and sensor data to enhance walking skills in visually impaired children. Developed in collaboration with Safe Toddles (https://www.safetoddles.org/), a non-profit dedicated to improving mobility for visually impaired kids, the app provides a structured series of lessons.

These lessons utilize the Pediatric Belt Cane, a Safe Toddles invention. The app guides users through each lesson, including interactive activities and post-lesson assessment questionnaires.

A wearable IMU sensor attached to the Pediatric Belt Cane transmits data to the app. This data is analyzed by an integrated AI module, which assesses the child's developmental walking age. The app then dynamically adjusts the lesson plan to best address the child's specific needs based on these regular assessments.
