Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Bevestigings -e -mails verzonden, oplichter ontstaan

VanSoftware is begonnen met het distribueren van bevestigings -e -mails voor de langverwachte Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test. Dit volgt op hun aankondiging van 30 januari 2025 op Twitter (X). Opgewonden fans delen hun bevestigingsmails online.

A follow-up email containing a unique download code for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S test client will be sent on February 11th, 2025. The test itself runs from February 14th to 16th, 2025, with five 3-hour sessions:

• Sessie 1: 14 februari, 3 uur - 6 uur PT
• Sessie 2: 14 februari, 19.00 - 22.00 uur PT
• Sessie 3: 15 februari, 11.00 - 14.00 uur PT
• Sessie 4: 16 februari, 3 uur - 6 uur PT
• Sessie 5: 16 februari, 19.00 - 22.00 uur PT

FromSoftware clarifies the test's purpose: a preliminary verification to assess online systems and server capacity under large-scale network load.

Pas op voor oplichting:

Helaas profiteren van de oplichters al van de opwinding. Rapporten geven een op stoom gebaseerde zwendel aan met frauduleuze uitnodigingen die leiden tot accountcompromissen en spamberichten. FromSoftware benadrukt dat officiële registratie en communicatie uitsluitend plaatsvonden via hun website en sociale mediakanalen. Alle links buiten deze bronnen moeten met extreme voorzichtigheid worden behandeld.

Scalpers are also aggressively listing purported "confirmed test codes" for exorbitant prices ($150-$200) on various online marketplaces, despite codes not being available until February 11th.

Elden Ring Nightreign, initially unveiled at the 2024 Game Awards, is slated for release in 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Een precieze releasedatum blijft onaangekondigd.
