Fortnite is gearing up for a major collaboration with the popular virtual singer, Hatsune Miku! Social media buzz suggests a potential in-game appearance, possibly including more than just a skin.

The Fortnite Festival account playfully acknowledged possessing a Miku backpack, while Miku's official account conversely reported its disappearance, sparking excitement among players. Leaks indicate the collaboration will likely feature a standard Miku skin, a virtual concert, a unique pickaxe, and even a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant.

The anticipated launch date is set for January 14th.

Separately, Epic Games recently filed a lawsuit against professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo for using cheat software, including aimbots and wallhacks, to gain an unfair advantage and win prize money in late December. The lawsuit alleges Araujo's actions deprived other players of a fair chance to compete.
