Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been postponed once more, with the new target date set for October 2025. This announcement was shared on the game’s official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann provided insights into the game's current development phase. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been engaging fans with Dev Diaries over recent months, offering insights into the game’s characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all Dev Diaries will be temporarily paused, allowing the developers to focus on refining the game.

First Revealed in 2019

Originally unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 release under the development of Hardsuit Labs. However, the release was first delayed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further pushed to 2021.

During this period, the project saw multiple lead departures. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would step away from the project, with The Chinese Room taking over. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, subsequently moved to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
