The Sony Bravia XR X93L, released in March 2023, stands out as the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup at the time, just behind the X95L (which was only available in an 85" screen size in the United States). The X93L leverages Mini LED technology, which is particularly effective for HDR content. Mini LED technology utilizes an array of smaller and more numerous LEDs, allowing for precise control of brightness levels within the same scene, thus enhancing black levels and contrast ratio.

This TV also shines as a gaming powerhouse. It comes equipped with four HDMI ports, two of which are HDMI 2.1 spec, enabling 4K output at up to 120Hz refresh rate. This makes it an ideal match for current-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
