Liam Hemsworth Debuts as Geralt in 'The Witcher' Season 5 Set Photos

The White Wolf is making his final appearance as production for the last season of *The Witcher* kicks off. Season 5 is currently in the works, and fans are buzzing over new set photos that have surfaced online. These images, which were leaked and shared by the renowned *Witcher* fan site Redanian Intelligence, give us a first glimpse of Liam Hemsworth stepping into the iconic role of Geralt de Rivia. Hemsworth, known for his role in *The Hunger Games*, is seen sporting the character's signature long blonde hair and full costume, ready to take on the mantle from Henry Cavill, who portrayed Geralt in the earlier seasons.

Alongside Hemsworth, the photos also feature returning cast members such as Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, who have been part of the series since Cavill's tenure. Hemsworth was announced as Cavill's replacement back in October 2022, set to lead the show through Season 4 and the concluding Season 5.

The set photos also introduce new characters set to appear in Season 4 and continue into the final season. One notable addition is the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in *Morbius*, who will portray Emiel Reigs.

These glimpses into the set have sparked speculation among fans that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s *Tower of the Swallow*, particularly the scenes involving Geralt meeting beekeepers who guide him towards druids. However, with Season 4 still pending release, the storyline's direction remains open to various possibilities. There's much anticipation about how the narrative will unfold before the final season's plot can be fully pieced together.

Henry Cavill isn't the only cast member to depart the series; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's mentor Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement or an official release date for Season 4.
