As highlighted in their recent X post, Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. Developer Supergiant Games celebrated this milestone by expressing gratitude to their fans and indicating that they are making significant strides toward the game's complete release.

Their post states, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades also followed a similar early access path, taking 22 months to reach its full release. However, Supergiant Games aims to bring Hades 2 to market more swiftly, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
