Dynasty Warriors M: Nexon Announces Game Closure

Nexon announces the end of service (EOS) for Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. Players who have enjoyed leading their forces in thrilling battles should make the most of the remaining time.

In-app purchases were halted on December 19th, 2024. The official statement expressed gratitude to the community but didn't detail the reasons behind the closure. The game's underperformance likely contributed to this decision. Launched in November 2023, Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed had a relatively short lifespan.

The final battle concludes on February 20th, 2025. A final in-game chapter will be released this month.

Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed offered a unique blend of classic Musou action and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, conquering castles across a vast map featuring 13 regions and 500 stages. The story mode recreated iconic historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
