Clash of Clans to Remove Troop Training Times in Major Update
Clash of Clans, an iconic mobile gaming staple, is showing its age but is not resting on its laurels. Supercell has been actively modernizing the game, and a significant change is on the horizon: the complete removal of troop training times. That's right, you'll soon be able to deploy your army near instantly and dive into battle quicker than ever before!
Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times marks another pivotal shift. As of today, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available in in-app purchases or chest rewards. You can still find them in the Trader and Gold Pass for now, but it's a use-it-or-lose-it scenario. By the end of the month, these items will be converted to Gems, so make sure to use them before they're gone!
To help you leverage this new change, Supercell is introducing a feature called "Match Anytime." This mechanic allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real-time opponents are available. You'll earn rewards from these matches, but players whose bases are used won't suffer any losses if defeated. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now become standard.
Stay tuned for other updates, including Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs. For more details on these changes and more, head over to the Supercell blog!
