CD Projekt Red Seeks Talent for Project Hadar

Marcin Blacha, the VP and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has highlighted that Project Hadar requires an "exceptional team." Talented developers are invited to explore the available positions and play a role in shaping this new game. Unlike CD Projekt's previous successes, The Witcher series, which is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, which stems from a tabletop RPG, Project Hadar introduces players to an entirely new universe crafted by CD Projekt. While specifics are still under wraps (with the only clarification being that it won't be a space horror), the project has been in the hands of a small team of about twenty until recently.

Currently, the Hadar team is expanding, seeking programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The enthusiastic endorsement from leading developers as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance" suggests that Project Hadar is moving from its initial stages into full-scale production.

CD Projekt Red is managing multiple projects simultaneously. The largest team is dedicated to Project Polaris, the inaugural installment of a new Witcher trilogy that will feature Ciri. Additionally, two other teams are developing a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another game set within The Witcher universe.
