Aquatic Paradise Event Joins NYC Go Fest in Pokemon Go
We're just a week away from the highly anticipated Pokémon Go Fest 2024: New York City, bringing the beloved in-person event to the Big Apple. If you're in NYC between July 5th and 7th, you won't want to miss the festivities at Randall’s Island Park. And, there's even more excitement with the Aquatic Paradise event happening around the same time for fans everywhere.
The Aquatic Paradise event in Pokémon Go is scheduled from July 6th to 9th, bringing some of the water-type Pokémon from the NYC event to players worldwide. You can expect to encounter a variety of themed Pokémon in the wild, such as Horsea, Staryu, Wingull, Ducklett, and more. By using Incense, you'll have the chance to attract exclusive Pokémon like Shellder, Lapras, Finneon, and Frillish. Lucky trainers might even come across Shiny variants. Plus, you'll earn double XP for catching Pokémon, so be sure to throw Poké Balls at everything that moves!
For even more engagement, there are Field Research tasks that offer encounters with Corphish, Clamperl, Finneon, and Frillish. All trainers can participate in the Collection Challenge, which provides additional rewards including extra goodies and more Pokémon encounters.
For those looking for more, consider purchasing the paid Timed Research for $1.99. This gives you access to special quests focused on exploration and catching Pokémon, with rewards including encounters with Ducklett, four Lucky Eggs, two Incense, and 20 Ducklett Candy.
If you've secured a ticket for the NYC event, don't forget to use the code GOFEST2024 at the Pokémon Go Web Store to receive a Premium Battle Pass and Incubator for free with any purchase.
