Alchemy Stars: Offline Transition & Shutdown Date Announced

Tencent and Level Infinite recently announced the upcoming shutdown of Alchemy Stars' online services, effective January 24th, 2025. However, players will still be able to enjoy the game in a special offline mode. This allows for replaying the story and accessing previously earned progress.

Shutdown and Offline Transition Details:

• Live Service End Date: January 24th, 2025.
• Offline Version Availability: Following the shutdown, an offline version will be available, allowing players to continue playing the game with their saved data.
• Maintenance: A maintenance period is scheduled for January 10th, 4:00 to 9:00 GMT, to implement version 1.43.0, which includes the crucial local data save feature. Updating to this version is essential to preserve your game progress.
• Data Saving: A data save button will be accessible on the main menu. Players are encouraged to save their data multiple times before the January 24th deadline (4:00 GMT). Unsaved data will be lost permanently after this date.
• Offline Mode Limitations: The offline version will not receive further updates. Deleting the app will result in permanent data loss; re-installation is not possible. Offline functionality will include story replay, unit upgrades, and access to saved data.

While the complete shutdown of online services is unfortunate, the availability of an offline version provides a positive alternative, allowing players to revisit their saved progress and experience the game's story again.
