Microsoft has revealed the lineup of games that will be exiting its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight games will be departing, including popular titles such as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is a premier online gaming service available for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can enjoy streaming games directly on their smart devices and consoles, access new releases on day one based on their subscription level, and dive into a vast catalog of high-quality games with friends on console, PC, or cloud. The following eight games are set to be removed from this expansive catalog:

Play**Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May are:** --------------------------------------------

  • Chants of Sennaar
  • Dune: Spice Wars

Microsoft is poised to unveil Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these games exit the service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received an exciting new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them. This news was shared through an Xbox Wire post, where Xbox announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as "select games they own," directly on their Xbox Series X, S, and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming. Previously, this feature was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, marking a significant expansion to include consoles.

In other gaming news, the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to May 2026. If this news has sparked your interest in revisiting the franchise, remember that GTA 5 Enhanced is now available on both Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC. This is especially noteworthy as it marks the first time GTA 5 has been included in the PC Game Pass catalog.
