Canfield Solitaire: A Comprehensive Guide

Canfield Solitaire remains a beloved solitaire card game. The objective is to successfully move all 52 cards into the four foundation piles. Cards are built onto the foundations in ascending order by suit, beginning with the rank dealt initially and cycling from King to Ace as needed.

Tableau manipulation involves moving either the top card or an entire sequence of cards from one tableau pile to another. This is permissible only if the top card of the destination pile is one rank higher than the moved card (or if a King is placed onto an Ace) and of a different color. Importantly, if both the reserve and a tableau pile are empty, any legally movable card can be placed into the empty space. New cards are dealt by clicking the stock pile located in the upper left corner.
