World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Missing Celebration Crates

World of Warcraft players can still earn the coveted Detective title and pursue the elusive Incognitro mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. The key lies in locating Alyx, the Lightforged Draenei NPC, who has relocated to Dornogal.

Alyx, previously stationed at the anniversary event grounds, now resides in Dornogal, conveniently positioned between the Delver's Headquarters and the stairs leading to the Foundation Hall. Maintaining their helpful nature, Alyx retains their clue-filled board, guiding players on a quest to recover 11 missing Celebration Crates scattered throughout Azeroth.

Securing the Detective Title:

1. Locate Alyx: Travel to Dornogal and find Alyx near the Delver's Headquarters. Note that players must be level 68 to access Dornogal, and level 10 to begin the Celebration Crate quests.
2. Follow the Clues: Examine Alyx's board for clues detailing the locations of the missing Celebration Crates.
3. Collect the Crates: Embark on the hunt, retrieving all 11 crates.
4. Claim Your Rewards: Return the crates to Alyx. Submitting six crates awards the "Crate Insurance Agent" achievement, while submitting all 11 unlocks "No Crate Left Behind," "Azeroth's Greatest Detective," and, most importantly, the Detective title. The Detective title is the prerequisite for initiating the Incognitro mount questline.

Important Note: While the Detective title and Incognitro mount quest remain accessible, other Guest Relations quests from the anniversary event are no longer available. Achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager" and "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats" are now unobtainable.

This strategic relocation of Alyx ensures that players won't be permanently locked out of acquiring the Detective title and the challenging Incognitro mount. While some anniversary rewards are lost to time, the pursuit of this unique mount continues.
