Application Description
Japanese Mahjong
This is a Mahjong game based on Japanese rules.
Move the slider located below the screen to select a tile.
Tap the slider to confirm and discard the selected tile.
The objective of Mahjong is to complete four Melds and one Pair.
Example: [1, 2, 3][6, 6, 6][6, 7, 8][N, N, N][4, 4]
However, certain hands are invalid when you call Chi, Pon, or Open Kan.
Please note whether a hand is valid when Chi or Pon involves terminals (1 or 9).
In Japanese Mahjong, at least one hand (yaku) is required to win.
You can declare a hand by paying 1,000 points and calling Reach (Riichi).
However, you cannot call Reach after performing Chi, Pon, or Open Kan.
A closed hand (fully concealed) typically yields higher points.
About Lost Hand (Furiten): A hand that is in tenpai (ready to win) but cannot win on another player's discard because the player has previously discarded a winning tile.
A hand is also Furiten if all winning tiles are visible in your own discards, even if you did not discard the specific tile you want. However, self-draw (tsumo) is still possible even with Furiten.
The key point is that you cannot win by Ron (winning on a discard) in a Furiten state.
You cannot declare Ron with a tile from your own discard.
Carefully read other players' discards and strategize your hand to win.
