Koikoi: The Classic Hanafuda Card Game

Koikoi is a traditional Japanese card game played with Hanafuda (flower cards), featuring beautiful seasonal designs that represent months of the year.

Game Rules

Players take turns discarding cards onto the playing field. When you match a card with another of the same month, you collect both cards.

You can choose to end the round immediately when you form a scoring combination (called "Yaku"), or continue playing to build higher scores ("Koikoi").

If neither player achieves any scoring combinations, the round ends without points being awarded.

The overall winner is determined after 12 rounds by comparing total accumulated points.
