UPDATE (19.01.25) - Nach kurzer Zeit der nicht verfügbaren Zeit hat Tiktok den Betrieb in den USA wieder aufgenommen

"In Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Dienstleistern restauriert Tiktok seinen Service aktiv", teilte das Unternehmen über eine Erklärung auf X/Twitter bekannt. "Wir danken Präsident Trump für seine klare Anleitung und Sicherheit für unsere Dienstleister und stellen sicher, dass sie keine Auswirkungen haben, weil sie Tiktok weiterhin unterstützt, was über 170 Millionen Amerikaner dient und mehr als 7 Millionen kleine Unternehmen zum Blühen ermöglicht.

"Diese Entscheidung unterstreicht ein Engagement für die erste Änderung und lehnt die willkürliche Zensur ab. Wir sind verpflichtet, mit Präsident Trump zusammenzuarbeiten, um eine nachhaltige Lösung zu entwickeln, die sicherstellt, dass TIKTOK in den Vereinigten Staaten nach wie vor zugänglich ist."
