Valve hat unerwartet einen neuen Comic veröffentlicht, „The Days Have Worn Away“, den siebten in der nummerierten Serie und den 29. insgesamt. Dies stellt ein bedeutendes Ereignis dar, da der letzte TF2-Comic im Jahr 2017 veröffentlicht wurde.

Valve nahm die lange Wartezeit spielerisch zur Kenntnis und verglich die Entstehung des Comics mit dem Bau des Schiefen Turms von Pisa.
