Nightdive Studios hat ihr Spiel offiziell als Systemschock 2: 25 -jähriges Remaster umbenannt und diesem Kultklassiker einen frischen Farbmantel verleiht. Diese revitalisierte Ausgabe startet auf PC (Steam und GOG), PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X/S und Nintendo Switch.

Das mit Spannung erwartete Veröffentlichungsdatum wird am 20. März 2025 während der Future Games Show: Spring Showcase enthüllt, die eine neue Generation vorbereitet, um dieses legendäre Sci-Fi-RPG zu erleben.

System Shock 2 wurde ursprünglich 1999 veröffentlicht und war ein genredefinierendes Meisterwerk, das überlebensgroßes Horror mit Deep RPG-Mechanik fachmännisch verband. Dieser Remaster verspricht, die erschreckende Atmosphäre beizubehalten und gleichzeitig die Erfahrung mit modernen Bildern und verbesserten technischen Leistung zu verbessern.
