Sony hat sein PlayStation Plus Game Catalog-Angebot für März 2025 veröffentlicht, das eine vielfältige Auswahl an PS5-, PS4- und Klassikertiteln für Abonnenten bereithält.

Laut dem PlayStation Blog erhalten PlayStation Plus Extra-Mitglieder in diesem Monat Zugang zu acht Spielen, darunter UFC 5, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown und Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions.

Abonnenten der Premium-Stufe erhalten vier weitere Titel: PSVR2's Arcade Paradise VR und FromSoftwares legendäre Armored Core-Trilogie aus der originalen PlayStation-Ära - Armored Core, Armored Core: Project Phantasma und Armored Core: Master of Arena.

Sony hat angekündigt, dass es PS4-Spiele über PlayStation Plus Essentials und den Game Catalog ab Januar 2026 nicht mehr anbieten wird und den Fokus vollständig auf PS5-Titel verlagert.

"Während wir auf PS5 umsteigen, werden PS4-Spiele kein Kernvorteil mehr sein und nur noch gelegentlich in unseren monatlichen Angeboten erscheinen", erklärte Sony. Zuvor beanspruchte Monatsspiele sind nicht betroffen, allerdings bleiben Game-Catalog-Titel "bis zu ihrem geplanten Entfernen" während des monatlichen Aktualisierungszyklus spielbar.

"Wir sind bestrebt, PlayStation Plus mit exklusiven Rabatten, Zugang zum Online-Mehrspielermodus, Cloud-Speicher und mehr zu verbessern", fügte Sony hinzu. "Unsere PS5-fokussierte Zukunft wird Abonnenten monatlich aufregende neue Spiele bringen."
