Ein potenzieller Veröffentlichungstermin für Pokémon Legends: Z-A ist online aufgetaucht und deutet auf eine Veröffentlichung am 15. August 2025 hin. Dieses Datum, das erstmals Anfang Januar 2025 auf Amazon UK entdeckt und dann schnell entfernt wurde, stimmt mit dem zuvor von The Pokémon Company angekündigten Veröffentlichungsfenster für 2025 überein.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A wurde ursprünglich während der Feierlichkeiten zum Pokémon-Tag im Februar 2024 enthüllt und soll eine Fortsetzung des Hits von 2022 sein, Pokémon Legends: Arceus. In Anlehnung an das erkundungsorientierte Gameplay des Vorgängers, bei dem das Sammeln Vorrang vor traditionellen Kämpfen im Fitnessstudio und der Pokémon-Liga hatte, gab es seit der Ankündigung nur wenige Details zu Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Der vom Inhaltsersteller Light88 hervorgehobene Listing-Leak bei Amazon UK zeigte kurzzeitig den 15. August als Veröffentlichungsdatum an, bevor er auf einen Platzhalter vom 31. Dezember zurückfiel. Angesichts der Ankündigung des Spiels für 2025 entspricht der August-Termin dem erwarteten Zeitrahmen.

Konfirmation im Februar 2025 möglich

Ob das durchgesickerte Datum korrekt ist, bleibt abzuwarten. Der offizielle Veröffentlichungstermin könnte jedoch bald bekannt gegeben werden. Ähnlich wie bei der ersten Ankündigung während des Pokémon-Tages 2024 könnte das Veröffentlichungsdatum während der Veranstaltung 2025 bekannt gegeben werden, die für den 27. Februar geplant ist – dem Jahrestag der ursprünglichen japanischen Veröffentlichungen Pokémon Rot und Grün. Aktuelle Erkenntnisse aus einem Pokémon GO-Datamin unterstützen dieses Datum am 27. Februar.

Über das Veröffentlichungsdatum hinaus erwarten die Fans sehnsüchtig eine Gameplay-Enthüllung, die auch während der Pokémon Presents-Übertragung 2025 veröffentlicht werden könnte.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A ist für Nintendo Switch bestätigt und wird dank Abwärtskompatibilität auch auf der kommenden Switch 2 spielbar sein. Während frühere Pokémon-Haupttitel kostenpflichtige DLCs enthielten, erhielt Pokémon Legends: Arceus nur ein kostenloses Post-Launch-Update, „Daybreak.“
