Capcom überarbeitet die RE -Serie auf iOS

TouchArcade -Bewertung: Während Aktualisierungen für Premium -mobile Ports die Optimierung oder Kompatibilität häufig verbessern, Capcoms aktuelles Update (vor einer Stunde) für Resident Evil 7 Biohazard , Resident Evil 4 Remake und Resident Evil Village auf iOS und iPados führt unerwünschte Online -DRM ein. Diese DRM überprüft den Kaufverlauf beim Spielenstart und prüft nach dem Besitz des Spiels und jeder DLC. Die Ablehnung führt zum Schließen des Spiels. Während die Prüfung mit einer Internetverbindung nur wenige Sekunden dauert, wird alle drei Titel offline nicht mehr spielbar - ein signifikanter Nachteil im Vergleich zu ihrer vorherigen Offline -Funktionalität.

Vor-Updat-Tests bestätigten die Offline-Spielbarkeit. Post-Update erscheint die oben genannte Warnung und erzwingt bei jedem Start die Online-Überprüfung. Dies ist eine frustrierende Veränderung für zahlende Kunden. Während einige möglicherweise nicht betroffen sind, wirkt sich die Hinzufügung dieses immer-online-DRM negativ auf das Wertversprechen der Spiele aus. Hoffentlich wird Capcom eine weniger aufdringliche Kaufverifizierungsmethode implementieren und möglicherweise weniger häufig überprüft. Diese Situation verringert leider die Empfehlung von Capcoms Premium -IOS -Ports.
