Application Description
Imagine traveling back in time with an army to rule the world 1,000 years in advance, only to face unexpected challenges from your primitive counterparts! In this thrilling game, you can lead the resistance with hundreds of warriors from diverse cultures across the globe. Whether you choose to focus on a single hero or take command of an entire army, you'll find yourself immersed in a blend of strategic world domination and interactive battles. Just when you think the game is over, be prepared for history to take a surprising turn!
Upgrades
While the game is primarily free to play, you have the option to upgrade and enhance your experience. Choose your starting side and territory, tailoring the game to your preferences. Unleash your creativity with fantasy battles between any two cultures, pitting as many warriors as your device can manage against each other. Additionally, you can customize every character in the game, though be aware that up to 1,000 characters are regularly replaced to keep the game dynamic.
Controls
When controlling a specific character, you can choose between the "Classic" one-handed control system or "Dual Wield," where each hand is controlled independently. If you're new to these controls, you can pause the game at any time by pressing the dateline and review the "Controls" guide. Keep an eye out for in-game hints from scrolls or books that provide valuable insights.
Switch between team members effortlessly by tapping their health meter or pointing directly at them on the battlefield. Enter "Commander" mode by tapping the arrows at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to direct any active team member with simple swipes. Whether you want them to relocate, engage an enemy, or pick up an item, they'll interpret your commands, though they may have other priorities at times.
No matter the device or control method, you can always zoom in or out by pinching the center of the screen.
Map
In the main "Campaign" mode, your goal is to expand your territory by moving units between connected areas. You can either fortify your existing territories or attempt to capture rival ones. Remember, only 50% of the units in a territory are available for movement, making defense easier than invasion.
The population of inhabited territories can grow after each round, making it crucial to control as many as possible. Units will gradually heal over time, so consider rotating through different locations each turn to maintain your strength.
Performance
This is the largest scale game I've created, which may require a high-end device to run smoothly at 100%. To optimize performance, consider lowering the "Population" setting to reduce the number of characters on screen or adjust other features in the "Display" options.
There's more to this game than I can fully explain here, so I encourage you to dive in and discover the intricacies for yourself. Enjoy the journey!
